Parental Supervision

The safety of everyone attending Pattison Swim School is our primary concern. Although structural safety measures are in place to minimise the risk of accidents it is your responsibility as a parent or caregiver to supervise your children at all times while on our premises. Pattison Swim School takes no responsibility for any accidents or losses incurred at our facilities or it's surroundings.

Missed Lessons

If, for whatever reason, you miss a class, you are entitled to up to two extra lessons per full invoice period to compensate for the lessons missed, provided you notify the Swim School of your absence prior to the lesson time. Extra lesson times that are arranged and not kept for whatever reason will not be re-allocated. Extra lessons are arranged at the manager’s discretion. No make-up lessons will be given for lessons missed during the holidays/public holidays.

 Pattison Swim School needs to be notified immediately if a pupil has a major illness or accident that results in an absence from the Learn to swim programme.

Public and School Holidays

 Pattison Swim School continues to operate if a public holiday falls into a two week block of lessons. Pattison Swim School operates with extended hours during the school holidays. 

Payments, Bookings and Refunds

All bookings require a $30.00 deposit (per child per course) to confirm all enrolments in our learn to swim programme. The deposit is due within 3 days of enrolment in the learn to swim programme. If the deposit is not paid within 3 days your swimming position will be lost. 

Deposits are to be made into Pattison Swim School account; NBS 03-1354-0358450-00 Please use your child's surname and date of course as the reference.

The remaining balance of the fees are payable on or before the first lesson. Cancellations with 24 hours notice will receive their deposit refunded.

Methods of payment are cash, cheque or direct deposit. There is no eftpos or credit system at the facility.

We generally do not give refunds, however we will credit lessons for genuine cases of illness or injury during the lesson period. Make up lessons are offered at the manager's discretion. 

Privacy Policy

Pattison Swim School understands the importance in protecting your privacy, we are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected, we respect your rights under the New Zealand Privacy Act 1993 (and amendments).

During the enrolment process Pattison Swim School collects personal information about you. Pattison Swim School will only use this personal information to assist us in providing our services to you, for internal research purposes, to verify your identity and for any other use that you authorise. We will not sell or allow third parties to access your personal information without your consent. We release account and other personal information only when we believe release is appropriate to comply with law.
